Workshops Workshops

Here we go again:

We will host two three-day puppet workshops for children in June.

The workshops are recommended for ages 8 and up.
Children will learn how to make and string a marionette, working with papier mache, paint, glue, cloth and toilet paper tubes. All materials will be provided.

The workshops will be 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, June 11-13 and 25-27. Bring a sack lunch. We have a refrigerator. Plus, the coffee pot will be on for the grownups.

Participants will need to attend for three days in order to complete the project. Adults are encouraged to attend with their kids.

Registration is required by calling 608-732-7129 by Friday, June 6 for, the first session and Friday, June 20 for the second session.

The fee is $20, payable at the beginning of the class. Adults are welcome to make a puppet, too!

This is not an easy, make-and-take workshop. This is a chance for kids to learn different skills and make something they can be proud of.
