Halloween shows

Halloween is Witch Hazel Green’s favorite holiday. It’s also her birthday – a day she traditionally has a magical spell competition with her nemesis, the goblin who lives in the lead mines.

See what happens when Frankie inadvertently lets the goblin get his hands on Hazel’s little black cat, Momo. Will Hazel’s magic still work? Who will save Momo?

Find out in our marionette production, “Hazel’s Halloween Birthday.” The cast is full of all your favorite Halloween characters --- Hazel's six dancing sisters, the skeleton, the pumpkin-head ghost and even the Hound of the Basketballs.

There will be two weekend’s worth of performances: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 and 27, as well as 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 and 28, at the Hazel Green Opera House, 2130 Main St.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for children, available when the doors open a half hour before each performance.

The opera house will be decked out in spooky splendor. Wonder where the giant spider will be this year?

Come in costume, if you like.
