Our Labor Day weekend shows will be "Wolfie."
The show will be performed at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2.
"Wolfie" is our original taken on a mixed up version of "Peter and the Wolf," "Little Red Riding Hood" and "The Three Little Pigs".
It's a marionette show but a life-sized Wolfie gets the action started and makes occasional appearances throughout the show.
This is a fast-paced, crazy show that calls for more than 2 puppeteers, so we are only able to do it again now that Coni Labarbera is back in the area. We've never done it at the opera house, so it's been more than 8 years -- maybe 10! You won't want to miss it.
Tickets for this production can be purchased at the door at $5 for adults and $4 for children. Doors to the Hazel Green Opera House, 2130 Main Street, Hazel Green, WI, open one-half hour before the show.
Remember, there are no performances on Monday, Labor Day, but look for us in the Benton parade, 9:30 a.m., Main Street.
