It's hard to sit still

Besides bringing in great puppet shows and puppeteers and presenting the winning plays in our Puppet Play-writing Contest, we wanted to expand our annual Day of Puppetry into more of a children's festival with stuff to do. And we wanted activities that will have kids moving around.

There will be three activities in the nearby United Methodist Church Hall, 1920 Percival (Hwy. 80). Like everything else at the festival (except the food), this is FREE!

Yoga for Little Kids - 10:45-11:15 a.m.
Yoga teacher Deb May loves to introduce kids to yoga, which she has done often at the Carnegie-Stout Public Library in Dubuque. She makes it fun and easy. (Deb teaches an adult class weekly at the Cuba City High School). This session will be for kids younger than 7.

Yoga for Bigger Kids - 11:30 a.m.-noon

The second session is for kids 7 and older.

Music for Tots --- 1:45-2:45 p.m.
Catherine Douillet, who is a certified teacher of Music Together, will present a program for the tiny tots. They will be singing and moving around and having a good time with mom or dad or grandma. The activity is suitable for the littlest babes as well as preschoolers.
