'River Critters' a-comin'

We'll be doing "River Critters," our hand, rod and shadow show three times this summer at the opera house. This will be the first time this show will be seen at "home." We've performed it on the road in Dubuque previously.
We're calling it Second Sunday Summer Shows. Performances will be at 2 p.m.
June 10, July 8 and Aug. 12.
"River Critters" is the story of a rambunctious otter, his sedate turtle friend and the other Mississippi River animals they encounter in one day on the river. There's a sneaky heron, a boorish catfish, a thieving raccoon and a fishfly who likes to party. It's the parallel story of Buddy's first day on the river with Grandpa.
We love this show and we know you will, too, because kids always like the animal puppets best.
Note: The opera house IS air conditioned!
