HAZEL GREEN, WIS. --- Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, the Fever River Puppeteers will present “An Irish Cinderella,” 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10; 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11; 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at the Hazel Green Opera House, 2130 Main St.
The marionette show is an Emerald Isle twist to the familiar fairy tale. Colleen’s stepmother won’t allow her to go to the Irish step-dancing contest. She manages to get there anyway to dance with the prince, with the help of a dancing pig and a leprechaun.
