I'm guessing it's too hard to commit to 2 or 3 Saturdays in a row. This is still a workshop I would like to do and I think a lot of kids and adults would enjoy it.
If anyone wants to get a group of 4 or 5 people together, we can figure out how and when to do this. This is an opportunity to make a small working marionette.
It can't be done in one sitting because the papier mache product needs to dry at least overnight.
I will try to schedule a simpler workshop for kids at another time.
Here's a link to a Puppeteers of America web site that will tell you all about a wonderful regional festival this summer in Springfield, Ill.
